Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Payment & Ordering
What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms depend on the type of order:
- For Custom‑Made Products: A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order and begin production. The remaining 50% balance must be paid before shipment. We will notify you when your order is ready, provide shipping options, and issue the final invoice for the balance payment.
- For In‑Stock / Ready‑to‑Ship Products: Full payment is required at the time of purchase, prior to shipment.
Important: Regardless of order type, all orders must be fully paid before shipment – we do not offer COD (Cash on Delivery) or net‑term credit for international orders.
This policy allows us to prepare your parts with confidence, whether they are custom‑machined or stocked items, while giving you full clarity before final payment.
How do I know if a product is in‑stock or custom‑made?
All products on our website are generally made‑to‑order unless specifically marked as "In Stock" or "Ready to Ship". If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order and we will confirm availability and lead time.
Do you offer bulk order discounts?
Yes, we offer volume pricing for larger orders. Please contact us with your quantity and part numbers, and we will provide a competitive quotation.
Do you accept credit cards, wire transfers, or other payment methods?
Yes. We accept wire transfers (bank transfer), and in some cases credit card payments via Shopify. For international B2B orders, wire transfer is the preferred and most cost‑effective method. Please contact us for details.
Shipping & Delivery
Does the product price include shipping?
No. Our product pricing excludes shipping costs. The exact shipping fee will be calculated based on your delivery address and selected shipping method (e.g., express courier, air freight, or sea freight). We will provide you with a shipping quote before processing your order.
What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer several shipping options to meet your needs:
- Express Courier (DHL / UPS / FedEx): Fast delivery (3‑7 days), ideal for small to medium orders.
- Air Freight: Mid‑range speed (7‑14 days), suitable for larger orders.
- Sea Freight (LCL / FCL): Most economical for large orders (20‑40 days).
What is your shipping port?
All orders are shipped from China, typically via Shanghai or Ningbo ports for sea freight, or directly dispatched via courier for express shipments.
Who is responsible for customs clearance, duties, and taxes?
Our pricing is on DAP (Delivered at Place) terms. This means we cover shipping to your location, but import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend consulting with your local customs broker for an accurate estimate of these costs.
Do you offer shipping insurance?
Yes, we offer shipping insurance to protect your order during transit. Insurance costs are calculated based on the total order value and destination. We will include this option when providing your shipping quote.
Product & Compatibility
How do I confirm that your camshaft fits my engine?
Each of our products lists the compatible engine models and OEM cross‑reference numbers. We recommend:
- Checking the engine model and CPL number on your engine's data plate.
- Matching the OEM part number on your original camshaft with our product listing.
- Contacting us if you are unsure – we can help you verify compatibility.
Are your camshafts new or remanufactured?
All of our camshafts are brand new, never remanufactured. We manufacture our products from solid CNC billet steel – not cast – to eliminate internal porosity and weak spots, ensuring superior durability and performance.
Do I need to return my old camshaft (core charge)?
No. We do not require core returns. There is no core charge on any of our products. You keep your old camshaft, and our price is the final price – no additional deposit or refund hassle.
What is the warranty on your products?
All our camshafts come with a 1‑year unlimited mileage warranty against defects in material and workmanship. If you have any issues, please contact us with your order details and we will resolve it promptly.
Are your parts made in China?
Yes, our products are manufactured in China under strict quality control standards. We use high‑grade materials, CNC machining, induction hardening, and precision grinding to ensure our products meet or exceed OEM specifications. Our reputation is built on delivering reliable, heavy‑duty parts for the global market.
Custom Orders & Lead Time
How long does it take to process an order?
Standard production lead time is typically 2‑4 weeks for most camshafts, depending on the specific model and current production schedule. For rush orders, please contact us to check availability.
Do you accept custom orders or non‑standard parts?
Yes. We specialize in CNC billet camshafts, and we can manufacture custom specifications based on your requirements. Please provide your technical drawings or specifications, and we will assess the feasibility and provide a quotation.
Can you provide samples or test parts?
For new customers or large volume orders, we can discuss sample production. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and terms.
Do you provide technical data (drawings, hardness reports, etc.)?
Yes, upon request we can provide inspection reports, material certificates, dimensional reports, and other technical documentation to support your quality assurance and maintenance records.
Returns & Customer Support
What is your return policy?
Please contact us before returning any parts. Since many orders are custom‑made, returns are generally accepted within 30 days for incorrectly ordered parts, subject to a restocking fee and provided the part is unused and in original packaging. Defective products are covered under our warranty policy.
How do I contact customer support?
You can reach us via email at burnvia@outlook.com. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours, Monday through Friday.
Do you have technical support for installation questions?
Yes. Our team can provide basic technical guidance for camshaft installation, timing, and compatibility issues. However, we recommend installation be performed by a certified engine mechanic to ensure proper fit and function.
